💳Point Policies

Free points

• Guests - 100 points per day provided (enough for 16 conversations)

• Regular users - 400 points per day provided (enough for 100 conversations)

• Claim free points on 'My Account' page (click claim button)

• Can claim again 24 hours after last claim, page shows time left till next claim

• Claiming when points remain will only charge up to max (Guest 100, User 600), excess points do not carry over. Use remaining points before claiming free points.

Creator Incentives

• When others chat with my character, I earn free points based on model used:

  • Mandarin13B -> 1P per conversation

  • GPT-3.5 / Mixtral 8x7b / Toppy M 7B -> 2P per conversation

  • GPT-4 / Claude2 -> 15P per conversation

• Self-conversations do not earn incentives

• Guest user conversations do not earn incentives

• You can claim your creator incentive on the My Account page.

• Incentives given as free points when claimed

Point Deduction Per Conversation

• Mandarin13B -> 4 points deducted per conversation

• GPT-3.5 / Mixtral 8x7b / Toppy M 7B -> 15 points deducted per conversation

• GPT-4 / Claude2 -> 150 points deducted per conversation

Criteria for Counting Conversations

• Each pair of a user's input and the character's response output is counted as 1 conversation.

• Conversations are counted when the character generates a normal response to user input. Errors resulting in no response do not count.

• Using the Reroll feature to request a new response to existing input still counts as 1 valid conversation.

• The character's initial greeting message is not counted.

Paid Points

• When free points are used up, paid points can be purchased for continued usage.

• Paid point products (5 types)

  • $4.99 for 5,000 points

  • $9.99 for 10,000 points

  • $29.99 for 30,900 points (3% bonus)

  • $49.99 for 52,500 points (5% bonus)

  • $99.99 for 107,000 points (7% bonus)

Refunds

• Paid points can be refunded within 7 days of charging if the points have not been used.

• Refunds are not possible if paid points have been used or more than 7 days have passed since charging. However, refunds are possible if there are culpable issues with the Caveduck service.

Other Information

• Paid points are valid for 1 year from the time of charging. Points expire after this period.

• When both free and paid points are held, free points are used first.

• Charging and usage history for free/paid points can be checked on the 'My Account' page.

• If using your own OpenAI API key, free/paid points will not be deducted.
